The Texas Hill Country is known for its
great hunting and wildlife.

The winter months bring nearly 10,000 hunters of whitetail deer; exotic animal hunters come year-round. These hunters provide an economic impact of approximately thirty million dollars annually. One amazing statistic is that nearly half a million dollars worth of hunting and fishing licenses are sold in Kerr County each year.

The 6493 acre Kerr County Wildlife Management Area owned and operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, is located on the scenic headwaters of the North Fork of the Guadalupe River, 12 miles northwest of Hunt on Ranch Road 1340. Principal wildlife species found in this area include whitetail deer, bobwhite quail, javelina, wild turkey, mourning dove, red fox, squirrel, bobcat, raccoon, skunk, armadillo, ringtail, rabbit, gray fox, many species of reptiles, and native and migratory birds.

• Spring turkey hunts: Two ranches totaling over 12,000 acres north of Rocksprings, booking a maximum of four hunters at a time. Milo feeders in operation or hunt by calling. $150 per day and trophy fee of $100 per gobbler. These ranches have an abundance of turkeys.
• Package hunts out of Rocksprings: Two full days of guided hunting for one buck and one turkey. Hunting takes place from comfortable, weatherproof blinds that overlook electronic feeders. My feeding program begins each year in August. You will be transported to and from your blind each morning and evening of your hunt. I can handle your hotel reservations in Rocksprings. Many repeat clients; references available. Total cost per gun is $700 (NO HIDDEN CHARGES). A doe may be harvested for an additional $100. I limit the number of hunters each season to ensure everyone a good chance at success.
• Year-round hunting for exotics on "Chalk Creek Exotics" near Junction, Texas.  All your "standard" animals plus several super exotics. Bargain prices on black buck, $1,000; pure mouflon, $850; aoudad, $1,500; fallow, $1,500; sika, $1,100; axis, $1,100; scimitar oryx, $2,100; "Texas Dall," $800; black Hawaiian, $600; nubian ibex, $100/inch; addax, $3,500; elk $2,500 & up and red stag, $1,000 & up.  Method of hunting varies from stalking on foot, blind hunting, or safari style from high seats on 4x4. • Three day guided 1X1 trophy whitetail hunt conducted on very large ranch. Quota includes one trophy buck, hogs and an axis doe for the freezer. Expect to see lots of bucks! Complete package $3,200. Hunting 140 B&C class deer and up. A refund of $1,000 if buck is not taken.
• Axis doe and blackbuck antelope doe cull hunts: Hunt free ranging does on very large ranch for very reasonable rates. Guide fee is $150 per day 1x1 plus $50 for each additional hunter of observer. Harvest fee of $150 per axis doe and $100 per antelope doe. Hunters must be willing to shoot at least two does each.
• South Africa Safari Ideal first safari destination....very safe, malaria free, very economical. Six full days of hunting, guided 1x1, includes trackers, skinners, lodging, meals, airport pick-up, and the trophy fees for five animals---kudu, bushbuck, impala, blesbok, and duiker... entire package is $4,600. • Newly acquired ranch with huge Four Horn Rams (Jacob's sheep) $700 and Black Hawaiian Rams $600.  These sheep have not been hunted for years.  Call for more details.
