Kerrville hosts several large festivals and events throughout the year, from music and food festivals to the county fair.
Perhaps the most famous is the Kerrville Folk Festival, held from the end of May through early June every year at Quiet Valley Ranch just outside of town. Quiet Valley is also the site of the Kerrville Wine & Music Festival, held at the end of summer in late August.
Kerrville also hosts The Official Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair at the River Star Arts and Events Park in late May. The fair is produced by the Texas Arts and Crafts Educational Foundation, which also sponsors several smaller festivals throughout the year, both in Kerrville and a day trip away in nearby cities.
The Hill County Mounted Peace Officers hold their Annual Wild Game Dinner every year at the Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center.
The Kerr County Fair is an annual tradition in October featuring local competition in everything from quilting to cooking and features entertainment, rides, games and much more!
The Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the Annual James Avery Hill Country Golf Classic every November. Golfers from all over the state and country converge on Kerrville for this competitive, flighted golf tournament!
